The Cemetery Office is generally open Monday through Friday, 8AM to 3PM, and is closed on weekends and holidays. People wishing to meet with the Superintendent should call for an appointment (914 941-1155), as attendance at funerals, marking out grave locations, and making burial arrangements with families will prevent the Superintendent from accommodating walk-in visitors. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note the Gated Entrance off of Dale Avenue and Marble Place is closed Monday – Friday, but open on weekends and holidays. The grounds are open from dawn to dusk.
Directions
FROM THE SOUTH
Take the Cross Westchester Parkway (I287) to Exit 1, Route 9 North about eight miles. After passing downtown Ossining, take a right at traffic light onto Van Cortlandt Ave. and then a right onto Claremont Rd. At the end of Claremont make a right hand turn which puts you onto Havell St. Proceed downhill to 2nd entrance which will be on your left to get to office.
FROM THE NORTH
Take route 9 South. At 2nd traffic light after St. Augustine’s Church, turn left onto Van Cortlandt Ave. and then right onto Claremont Rd. At the end of Claremont make a right hand turn which puts you onto Havell St. Proceed downhill to 2nd entrance which will be on your left to get to office.
FROM THE EAST
Take Route 133 West and follow it until it ends at downtown Ossining. Make a right onto route 9 (North Highland Ave.) After about ½ mile, turn right at traffic light onto Van Cortlandt Ave. and then a right onto Claremont Rd. At the end of Claremont make a right hand turn which puts you onto Havell St. Proceed downhill to 2nd entrance which will be on your left to get to office.
